About my work
Across my drawings, photographs, and objects, I explore the flawed, the provisional, and the easily overlooked. My practice is guided by an instinctive attention to detail — a way of seeing that has long been attuned to the smallest shifts in surface, light, and structure. I am drawn to what is so quiet it almost escapes perception. Subtle fractures, minor traces, restrained forms: these understated elements become points of reflection. By isolating and recontextualising them, my work invites a slower mode of looking — one in which imperfection, uncertainty, and fragility are understood not as deficits, but as sites of depth and continuity.
Within my drawings, photos and objects I examine the flawed, the imperfect and the uncertain. For me, it's all automatic. I have been conditioned - ever since I can think - to see the smallest details.
I'm interested in everything that is so quiet that it almost doesn't exist.
